WebSphere 8.5.5 and higher only: Add the custom property for Java

This procedure must be performed for customers who use WebSphere 8.5.5 and higher.

  1. Add a Java custom property to your WAS installation
    1. From the WAS administration console, navigate to: Application server > [Your LSF or LMRK server] > Process definition > Java Virtual Machine > Custom properties
    2. Click New and add the following property:

      javax.security.auth.useSubjectCredsOnly=false

  2. Upgrade your WebSphere Java to version 7.0.8, available with WAS Fixpack 8.5.5.4.
