Setting Up Users
Your Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) server needs to be in the same domain as Active Directory.
When testing applications for single sign-on, you will need to: launch the browser from a machine that is on the same domain as Active Directory, or establish a trust between the two domains, or add it to your browser's trusted sites.
User | Purpose |
spservices |
The Sharepoint installation and administrator user. This user is required for initial setup and smoke testing for applications running on the Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) server. This user must have an OS identity on the Lawson System. Before you begin configuring, use one of the security administration tools (Lawson Security Services, Lawson Security or secadm) to verify that this user exists in Lawson and has an OS identity. |
wasServer |
The Active Directory ID for the user who runs WebSphere Application Server. Lawson recommends that you use Example If your WebSphere instance is installed on a machine named LSF10, this user is wasLSF10 Note: This name cannot be the same as the WebSphere Administrator ID.
This user must also be set up in LSF as a privileged user. |
wasadmin | This is the Active Directory ID for the WebSphere console administrator. When using Kerberos authentication, your Websphere administration console will always be secured and you will need the wasadmin user name and password to sign in. |
lawson | The domain lawson user is used to install and smoketest most Lawson products. This user needs to exist on the operating system, in the domain, and in Sharepoint. |
