Deleting an attribute that was created at your site

There are two ways to do this depending on whether you want to delete the attribute from the attribute library so it will no longer be available for any objects or if you want to remove it from an individual object. If you delete just for an individual object, other objects that use the attribute will continue to have it assigned.

Note: Only attributes that you created can be deleted. Infor-delivered objects cannot be deleted.

  1. From the ISS admin console main menu, select Configuration->Schema Editor->Manage Schema.

  2. Select the attribute for deleting.

    If you want to delete the attribute globally for all objects, click on the Attribute Library tab, locate the attribute and then select it.

    Or

    If you want to delete the attribute only for the object to which it is assigned, first select the object and then select the attribute.

  3. With the attribute selected, scroll to the bottom of the page. On the attribute details page, click the Delete button and then click OK to confirm.
