Upgrading from an earlier version of user monitoring

If you already use user monitoring and are moving to a version released on or after January 29, 2016, you will need to configure an RDBMS for use with user monitoring. System Requirements You will also need to perform configuration using the LSF ssoconfig utility to enable the RDBMS following instructions in this document

Note: Earlier versions of the User Monitoring feature used an embedded Derby database to store monitoring data. As of the January date, we no longer support capturing user monitoring data into the Derby database. Any previous data that was stored in an embedded Derby database cannot be moved to an RDBMS.
