Creating an endpoint group

Infor uses the term "endpoint group" to represent the servers that participate in a particular network. Part of the configuration process is determining the network boundary of each server by assigning it to an endpoint group. The endpoint for the ldapbind authentication web server must belong to a group.

  1. From the main menu of ssoconfig, select the number for the option "Manage Lawson HTTP Endpoint Groups."
  2. At the submenu that appears, select the number for the option "Add New HTTP Endpoint Group."
  3. At the prompt, "Lawson HTTP Endpoint Group Name," type a name for the group and then press Enter.

    Choose a name that will help you remember its use when you add endpoints to the group, for example, "LDAPBIND_GRP."

  4. Select "Back" to return to the main menu or "Exit" to exit the ssoconfig utility.
