Create a New Web Server (or Port) for the LDAPBIND Service

Most customers who want to use SSO for Infor Lawson products that do not use passive authentication create a new web server for ldapbind authentication for users of the non-passive client products.

Note: If you prefer to create a new port on an existing web server for the ldapbind service, you can do so.
  1. Follow instructions in your web server administration documentation for creating a new web server.
  2. If you use WebSpere, you must:

    • Create the web server.

    • Map the new server to applications in WebSphere.

    • Add port entry to the Virtual Host section in WebSphere.

    • Generate and propagate the plug-ins.
