Assigning LDAPs to the LDAPBIND service in a multi-LDAP configuration

This procedure is used only in installations that have multiple LDAPs. Use it to specify the names of the additional LDAPs in the configuration that need to authenticate through the LDAPBIND service.

Note: This procedure uses Infor Rich Client to configure. You could also use the secadm command line tool.
  1. In Infor Rich Client, navigate to the Details tab of the service you created for LDAPBIND authentication on Landmark.
  2. In the Login Scheme Expression field, specify the names of the LDAPs in the configuration, separated by "||" (two solid bar characters).

    The attributes are read from left to right. It is a good idea to place the LoginScheme for the LDAP that has the most users in the left-most position of the Login Scheme Expression field.

  3. Click Save when you are finished specifying LDAPs for the service.
