Complete the DSSO installation
-
From the drop-down list, select "Manual deployment but create service."
You will manually install the DSSO .ear file into the WebSphere application server you use for your application.
Choose Next.
-
At the prompt for protocol, select either:
-
Use HTTPS always: All communication will be SSL.
-
Use HTTP always: All communication will be HTTP.
Note: If an additional option for using HTTPS only for transactions requiring extra security appears in the dropdown, do not select it. Select "Use HTTPS always" if you need SSL for any communication.
-
-
At the prompt, "Use existing form based service," select No.
Note: With this selection, you are telling the system to create a new service for Workforce Management rather than using an already existing service.
- At the prompt for FQDN (fully qualified domain name), supply the FQDN of the Workforce Management server.
- At the prompt for HTTP port: Supply the HTTP port number of the Workforce Management web server.
-
At the prompt for HTTPS port: Supply the HTTPS port number of the Workforce Management web server.
Note: You must configure both the HTTP and HTTPs ports regardless of the type of communication you use.
-
On the Installation Summary screen, review the options.
-
Choose Previous to go back and correct a value.
-
Choose Next to start the installation.
When the installation completes, a service named <DSSOInstanceName> is created on either the Infor Lawson System Foundation or the Infor Landmark server.
