Schema Editor process

If you determine that you need to make schema changes at your site, you will perform the following general procedures:

  1. Implement the changes using Schema Editor.
  2. If you have added a new attribute, link it to the resource that you want it to be used with.
  3. Run the Infor Lawson ldifgen utility to create an LDIF file (or files).
    Note: Information about the ldifgen utility is not in this document. For detailed instructions, refer to the help system or the Infor Xtreme Knowledge Base. (KB article 1369992 provides details about the utility and includes usage examples.)
  4. Load the LDIF file into your LDAP server. You perform this step using your LDAP native tools, not Schema Editor.
