Disabling a User

If you need to disable a user quickly, you can use this procedure to disable the user instead of deleting. The user will not have any access to the system but the user record still exists and can be re-enabled or deleted later.

Note: A user cannot be completely deleted from this system. This ensures for auditing purposes that all user records are accounted for.
  1. From the ISS administration console, locate the user record for the user you want to disable.
  2. From the list of users that appears, select the user you want to disable and click the Disable icon (circle with line through it).
