Archiving audit records

Auditing can generate a large amount of data. This data can be easily archived so it does not take up system resources but is readily available if needed. Infor recommends that you set up a schedule for archiving.

  1. From the ISS console dashboard, select Configuration->Manage Server->Archive Audit Records.
  2. Select the user to archive. You can leave this field blank to archive all audit records.
  3. Select the date that the archive should begin. Any data generated on the date or earlier is archived.
  4. Select the type of audit data to archive.

    • ALL: Archives all types of data that was audited for this year.

    • ADD: Data that this user has added, including profiles, security classes, and rules.

    • CHANGE: Security data that this user has added for profiles, security classes, and rules.

    • DELETE: Security data that this user has deleted for profiles, security classes, and rules.

    • DENIAL: Access attempts that have been denied to this user.

    • SSO: Any authentication attempt by this user.
