Turn user monitoring on / off using the Infor Security Services administrative dashboard

You can use the user monitoring administrative dashboard to quickly turn monitoring on and off. Typically, you would do this if you wanted to temporarily turn monitoring off and then easily turn it back on when you want to continue using it.

  1. From the security administration dashboard, select Configuration and then under the User Monitoring group, select Configure Monitoring.

    You will be on the User Monitoring - Configure Monitoring page.

  2. Enable or disable monitoring by clicking the Enable Monitoring checkbox. When this checkbox is checked, monitoring is enabled. When it is unchecked monitoring is disabled.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Perform a full system stop and restart sequence to make the changes take effect.
    1. Stop your application server.
    2. Run the Infor stoplaw command.
      When you are ready to restart the Infor Lawson system, run the startlaw command and then start your application server.
