Test the new role

If all other configuration required for running applications from outside the DMZ as described in this document have been completed, test the new Portal role.

  1. Log in as a user who has this role and verify that you can access only the applications or data that should be allowed.
  2. Verify that you cannot access applications or data that should be prohibited.
  3. Verify that the configuration that you applied to the Portal Role file are in effect.
