Adding, Updating or Deleting an Object Using ISS Schema Editor

Infor delivers many objects including People, Things, Services and Groups. When you add a new object, you are creating a new type of general object to be stored in your LDAP that can be referenced in security rules.

Each object delivered by Infor has attributes. For example, a People object has attributes, such as, Description, DisplayName, and so on. You can add new attributes to delivered Objects and to Objects that you create. These new attributes can then be referenced in security rules.

Note: All changes made to schema via Schema Editor must be imported to LDAP using the Infor ldifgen utility and native LDAP import tools.

If you need a general object that is not delivered by Infor, follow this procedure to create it.
