Creating and Assigning a Default PortalRole for External LSF Users (Optional)

Some LSF customers who use Lawson Portal make use of the PortalRole feature, which is a default role for access within Lawson Portal.

If your system makes use of the PortalRole feature, you can create a special PortalRole for users who are logging in from outside the DMZ. All external users will be assigned this role.

This procedure is optional. If your system uses the PortalRole feature and you do not assign a default role for external users, their internal PortalRole (already assigned to the resource record in LSF) will be used.
