Lawson Smart Office (LSO)

Infor Smart Office (ISO) is a feature-rich Windows-based user interface.

This interface is available to most Infor Lawson platforms and is frequently used with Infor Lawson M3.

System Administrator Access: Lawson Interface Desktop (LID)

Lawson Portal does not provide access to the command line or some environment forms used for system administration. Another tool, Lawson Insight Desktop (LID), is available for this purpose.

LID is a TCP/IP-based emulator that can display Environment character-based or forms in either character mode or graphically. LID is installed on the desktop computer and does not require an HTTP server to run.

Typically, LID is used by Lawson system administrators to run such utilities as dbdef or jobdef.

LID is not intended to be used for running user application forms. These should be run through Lawson Portal.
