Lawson Security Desktop Clients

Lawson Security includes the following desktop clients that are written in Visual Basic and are installed on client machines of any administrative users who need to perform security functions.

• Lawson Security Services: Used by security administrators to perform some user-related tasks and to federate systems (that is, synchronize user information between two systems such as Infor Lawson System Foundation and Infor Landmark Technology).

• Lawson Security Administrator: Used by security administrators to perform all tasks related to security and most tasks related to managing users.

• Resource Management Administrator: Used by security administrators for a few specialized tasks related to management of users (for example, creating roles).

• Schema Editor: Used by customers who create or alter delivered LDAP objects or attributes.
