Logging In to the Query Builder

Each time you begin a Query Builder session, you must log in to the connector. You are prompted to provide the same information you provide any time you log in to the Lawson ERP application system.

Depending on how your system is configured, steps for logging in might not be identical to what you see here. Follow procedures that are correct for your system. Also, software developers can control the authentication information requested by their consumer applications. See Authentication Properties.

To log in to the Query Builder

  1. Access the Query Builder.
  2. From the Start menu on your PC, select All Programs > Infor > Infor OLE DB Object Services > Query Builder.

    The OLE DB Object Services log in form appears.

  3. On the Login dialog box, type the protocol (http or https), "://", name of the server (FQDN), a colon, and your port number (for example, http://myserver.com:8888), and then click Connect.
  4. On the username/password screen, enter your user ID and password. This screen will vary depending on your security provider.
