What Is Infor OLE DB Object Services?

Infor OLE DB Object Services is an OLE DB provider that retrieves Landmark application data or Lawson ERP application data and sends it to a consumer. (These terms are explained in Some OLE DB Terminology: Consumers and Providers.)

OLE DB Object Services provides a set of point and click tools that let you retrieve application data for use with third-party products or in applications you have created.

The tools were created following the Microsoft OLE DB specification to ensure that they are compatible with other products that also conform to the specification.

Most users will load OLE DB Object Services onto their workstations but a server installation is possible.
