Infor OLE DB Object Services overview

Infor OLE DB Object Services is an OLE DB provider that retrieves Infor Lawson data and sends it to a consumer. It provides a set of point and click tools that let you retrieve Infor Lawson application data for use with third-party products or in applications you have created.

The tools were created following the Microsoft OLE DB specification to ensure that they are compatible with other products that also conform to the specification. Most users load OLE DB Object Services onto their workstations but a server installation is possible.

There are two separate user interfaces or query builders, one for use with the Lawson Applications and one for use with the Infor Landmark applications.
