Binding data

Data binding lets the user assign a data set to a report element to qualify what must be displayed in a report. Follow this guide on how to bind data when using a particular data source:

To create a column binding

  1. Drag the Dynamic Text element on the template.
  2. In the Property Editor, click on Binding tab and select the data set to bind with the report element.
  3. Double-click the dynamic text on the template.
  4. In the Expression Builder window, select Available Column Bindings from Category list.
  5. Select Dynamic Text from the Sub-Category list.
  6. Double-click the expression/s to be used, and then click OK.
