Infor Lawson Smart Reports Designer overview

Infor Lawson Smart Reports Designer, or LSR Designer provides user a tool for enhancing Lawson Smart Reports (LSR) templates, which can be generated using Lawson report programs. This desktop application uses a drag-and-drop design environment, and a preview function allows user to evaluate the modified LSR template.

When you submit (in Lawson Portal or Infor Smart Office) a report job that supports template file (*.rptdesign) and XML data source, you must retrieve both files from the Lawson server and open these files in LSR Designer for editing.
