Saving the customized template in LSR directory

To use the custom template in your reports, save the edited template, including the custom fonts (*.ttf) used back to the LSF server.

Note: Templates must be on its original filename format:

<Program Code>_<Locale>.rptdesign

Example PR140_default.rptdesign, PR140_ARSA.rptdesign

  1. Locate the edited template (.rptdesign) file in your local folder.
  2. Save the template in the LSR directory, in the folder that corresponds to your preferred customization level, otherwise create a new template folder if it does not exist.
    Customization level Template behavior and when to use it LSR directory path
    User Level Custom template applies to the report submitted by the user with the same specified user ID. \<Product Line>\lsr\templates\custom\<Program Code>\<USERID>
    Company code Custom template applies to reports that have the same company code as seen in the job parameter page, and if users who submitted the job does not have their own user level template. \<Product Line>\lsr\templates\custom\<Program Code>\ <COMPANY>
    Program code Custom template applies to reports of a particular program code if there is no custom template in company code level, or the user did not own a user level template. \<Product Line>\lsr\templates\custom\<Program Code>

    For UNIX/AIX:

    Set the template file permission to Read and Write and the folder permission to 777.
