Administrative roles

Infor delivered administrative roles are for technical users, such as system administrators.

The intent is to provide administrators with a way to be immediately productive when setting up the system. Most customers will need to make adjustments to the delivered roles to meet their ongoing needs.

Note: If you need to make changes to a delivered role, it is a good idea to create a new role based on the delivered role so that the delivered role is not over-written.

Administrative roles are part of Infor-delivered profiles. The following table describes the roles and shows the profiles they are a part of.

LawsonQueryToolsRole	Provides access to GEN tables that all users who run Lawson query tools need. This includes products such as Lawson Addins for Microsoft Access, Lawson OLE DB Object Services, and Lawson Design Studio.	GEN
PortalBookmarkAdminRole	Provides access to the LOGAN product line data needed by anyone who accesses Lawson Portal.	LGN
ProcessFlowRole	Programs, data and other components that ProcessFlow users and administrators need.	ENV
SuperAdminRole	Gives full access to all activities necessary to run all Infor Environment utilities. Also has access to the Security Administrator and Resource Management Administrator desktop clients.	ADM, ENV, LGN and RM
