To write a rule for securable types
- On the Profile form, select the administrative profile and choose Use Selected.
- Choose Class from the Profile Management option set.
- Select the security class you want to write rules for. (Do not select the AllADMClass security class that Lawson delivers for use by the super-administrator.)
- On the Rule Details for this Security Class form, choose Add Rule to add a new rule, or View Modify Rule to change a rule you select from the list of those that already exist for the security class.
- Select the securable type in the top part of the Object Selector (you can only write a rule on one object at a time).
-
Set the access level.
-
To grant all access or deny access, select the Grant All Access button or the Deny Any Access radio button in the Rules Builder.
-
To grant unconditional access for a type of action, select the Select UnConditional Access for Action in the Rules Builder. Then, click in the rectangle to the right of UnConditional Access for Action and select from the list of available choices the action for which you want to grant unconditional access. Repeat this step if you want to grant unconditional access for more than one action.
