Troubleshooting Configurable Login Pages
Use this information to help solve any problems that occur when you attempt to use configurable login pages.
-
Configurable login pages are incompatible with a service for which the hasOwnSSOPages box is selected. If you attempt to configure login pages for such a service, the new login page will be ignored and there may be issued with the delivered login page. To set up configurable login pages for the service, you must remove the check from the hasOwnSSOPages box for that service.
-
The customized pages (or lack of customized pages) will be tied to the primary service identified by the domain associated with a given request. Thus, make sure that you have configured the service property for configurable login pages on the primary service for the domain your application belongs to. That is, if your setting this on a service that refers to another service, you're not going to see any results.
-
Be careful when editing the HTML pages from the sso.war. The contents of the pages are very important and may be required for proper execution of the code. Making modifications beyond changing images or adjusting styles may lead to runtime errors.
-
If you have made additional changes to the login page file or its supporting files, be sure that you have updated the zip file with those changes and have uploaded the zip file again on the Service Property Detail page for the ConfigurableLoginZipFile.
