Password recovery

Recovering passwords through e-mail is the most secure method. The other method for recovering a password, to run a command that enables you to set a new password on the fly from the command line, is not as safe. Password recovery through e-mail must be configured. Your installer might have configured this for you at installation time. If recovery through e-mail is not configured, you must use the command line method.
