Locating troubleshooting information within the file
This section uses examples to show how you to locate information in the log file that can be used for troubleshooting.
Example 1: Log file showing how Lawson Security evaluates a rule
The illustration that follows shows a snippet from a log file that has been annotated to show how Lawson Security evaluates a rule to make sure that the user has been granted access to each specific piece of data, the system code, the program code, the form (token) and so on, before granting access.
Example 2: Using the log file to investigate an error message
The illustration that follows shows a snippet from a log file that points out a problem with use of a function in a conditional security rule. In this case, getDBField() had been incorrectly specified.
