Securing FileMgr executables with Lawson Security

Use the instructions below if you want to secure gthe FileMgr executables through Lawson Security.

  1. In the Security Administrator, select Profile Management, then select Profiles, and then select the Environment profile.
  2. Create a new security class and assign a name that associates the class with Design Studio and FileMgr.

    For example:

    IOSFileMgr and FileMgr IOS Services for Design Studio as the description.

  3. When adding rules to the class, locate the new objects you created. They will be in the Executables securable type, within the IOS Services category
  4. Grant all access to all executables with tokendef.
  5. After creating the security class, assign it to a role, and assign the role to the Infor Lawson Design Studio users.
