Populating the identity file
Using the template file you created for reference, populate a file containing the identities. It is a good idea to save the identity file template under a new name and then populate the new file. This will ensure that you always have a clean version of the template for reference.
You can populate the file manually by copying the <IDENTITY> </IDENTITY> tag, including all nodes that are included within those tags. If an automated method for populating the XML file is available to you, use it.
Examples for each type of service and agent are in an appendix to this document. Locate the appropriate example for the service or agent you are populating.
If you added parameters that are not required by Lawson to your service or agent, your identity file will look different from the example.
Review the identity file for typographical errors before you load it into Resource Management (next procedure).
