Defining a black box service
A black box service is a special type of service that does not contain the standard APIs used for connecting to SSO. You can create this type of service if you have an application that requires user and password authentication in which you want to run through Lawson Single Sign-on.
As with all services, there are several ways to create them. You can:
-
Create an XML file manually and run the ssoconfig utility from a command window using the file as input.
-
Use the ssoconfig utility to create an XML file template and then run ssoconfig again from a command window using the file as input.
-
Run ssoconfig manually, that is solely from a command window, responding to all prompts.
