Creating an executable for FileMgr to secure Design Studio

To secure Design Studio through Lawson Security, you must secure FileMgr, which is the engine within IOS that supports Design Studio tools. Securing through FileMgr token protects the individual functions of Design Studio.

Before you perform this procedure, you must first create an executable for FileMgr using the Infor Lawson Environment utility, tokendef.

You must know how to use tokendef tool.

  1. Access the Form ID Definition utility (tokendef):
  2. From the Environment Form IDs, create a category named "IOS" if it is not available. Use "IOS Services" for the description.

    Use these naming conventions to ensure that you can locate the category when you assign security rules to it.

  3. Create the following form IDs:
    Form ID Title Type
    fm_alllist File Manager - All List Online
    fm_chkid File Manager - Check Form ID Online
    fm_dbcnv File Manager - DB Conversion Online
    fm_delete File Manager - Delete File Online
    fm_filelst File Manager - File List Online

    fm_lstindx File Manager - List Index Online
    fm_rblindx File Manager - Rebuild Index Online
    fm_save File Manager - Save File Online
