addresourceutil parameters
The following table shows all parameters that could be used with the addresourceutil program, including those that have specialized uses.

Location and name of the LDIF output file that will be generated by the command. For example: addresourceutil –f c:/MyOutputFileLocation/addusers.ldif users.txt You can omit this parameter and direct output to a file, for example,

-D binddn

The LDAP distinguished name used to bind to the LDAP server. |
-h host
|
Name of the LDAP server. (If the security server is running when you run addresourceutil, you do not need to specify this.) |
-p port
|
LDAP server port. (If the security server is running when you run addresourceutil, you do not need to specify this.) |
-w password
|
Password that you use to run the LDAP server. (If the security server is running when you run addresourceutil, you do not need to specify this.) |
-A
|
Add resources directly to the LDAP. If you use this option, you will not create an LDIF file. Use this option only if you are familiar enough with your LDAP data that you do not need to review proposed changes before updating. (Do not use if you are using the -x option.) |
-x
|
Create delete LDIF. You can also use addresourceutil to delete users, that is, to reverse the process of exposing Lawson users to an existing LDAP. (You cannot use this with the -A option.) |
-stdin
|
Reads standard input. If you use this parameter, you can omit the user input file. |

|
Verbose, that is, display messages during runtime. |
