Mass Assigning Attributes to Users: Overview
With Resource Management, you can mass assign, that is, add or change, attributes for users. For example, suppose you have determined that all users in your organization who have been assigned to a particular role must also have another role. You could use the mass assignment feature to update the role attributes for all entries.
The process of mass assignment works like this:

From the Resource Management Administrator, you select the Mass Assignment feature.

You tell the Administrator which entries you want to change by performing a query. When you do this, you are saying, "Make the following changes to the following user entries." You will not see the list of user entries on the screen.

Then, you tell the Administrator what attribute to change and what to change it to by typing a new value in the Value field next to the name of the attribute.

You start the Mass Assignment process and wait while it processes in background.

You monitor the progress of the mass assignment process.
You cannot start a new mass assignment process while one is in process.
