Federated systems: Update users through the LSS tool whenever possible

Mass load and mass assignment features are available only with the Lawson Security Administrator and Resource Administrator tools.

Typically, if your system is federated, you would use only LSS, not Lawson Security Administrator or Resource Administrator, to add or updates users.

However, tools for adding users are only available with Lawson Security Administrator or Resource Administrator. If your system is federated and it makes sense to use the mass load and mass assign tools, because, for example, you have many users to add or update, you could use them. You would need to run the federation procedure (using LSS) after your mass load/update was completed.
