Road Rager Users' Access Needs
When Infor Lawson consultants analyzed Road Rager's situation, identified several types of users which are described in the following sections.
They also learned that Road Rager wants to keep the Biloxi and Brownsville operations as separate as possible. For example, the person who pays invoices in Brownsville does not need access to Biloxi invoice data. This was addressed by using Company and Process Level security, a feature of the AP product that is compatible with Infor Lawson Security.
AP power users' access needs
In conjunction with Road Rager's staff, Infor Lawson consultants determined that the AP users' needs can be categorized as shown in the following table.

IT Department access needs
The IT Department staff who administer Infor Lawson Security have the access needs shown in the following table.

| System Maintenance Engineer | Needs wide-open access to system utilities to be able to run backups, install patches, perform database reorganizations, and so on. |
| Infor Lawson Security Administrator | Needs wide open access to the Infor Lawson Security and Resource Management Administrator tools. |
| Infor Lawson Security Assistant Administrator | Needs wide open access to the Resource Management Administrator tool. |
| Lawson Portal Administrator | Administrators responsible for Lawson Portal must have the PortalAdministrator bookmark set to Yes. |
| Software Developer | Because Road Rager's software developers modify Infor Lawson code, these users must have full access to data in all product suites that Road Rager purchased. |
