New Lawson users

New Lawson users at Road Rager include:

  • HR system power users

  • All Road Rager employees who will now be using the Employee application

  • All Road Rager employees with direct reports who are now users of the Manager application (in addition to Employee)

HR power users

The Road Rager security administrator performed the following actions in order to add the HR system power users to Lawson:

  • Added the users to the operating system. (These users must have unique operating system IDs.)

  • Created user entries in the Resource Management system. This included populating the roles and groups that the user needs access to and other attributes.

  • Created identities on the following services or agents:

    • OS/Environment

    • SSOP

    • APPS810_EMPLOYEE (the agent for the Employee and Manager Self-Service application)

Note: The administrator could have waited to add identities for these users when he added identities for all users, but, because these users were involved in testing before go-live, he added their identities right away.
