Single Sign-on
Single sign-on is a feature of Infor Security that lets a user log in one time to the Infor Lawson system and be authenticated as a valid user as he or she moves through the system. While single sign-on is for the most part behind-the-scenes processing, initial setup for each user is required. Part of setting up a user involves creating identities for the user on the services and agents the user needs. (Services and agents are components that store users' credentials and communicate with other services as a user attempts to navigate through various system components.)
Single sign-on provides Infor Lawson with the ability to perform session timeout. If a session is inactive (no user interaction) for a programmed number of minutes, the session terminates.
