Install Lawson Portal Web Server Files for Users Running Applications outside the Firewall
This section describes the Lawson Portal installation setup for customers who want to allow users to access some applications, for example, Employee / Manager Self Service, from outside the firewall. In this situation you are installing an additional web server to runLawson Portal Web Server files.
The installation of the External Portal is similar to installing Lawson Portal on the LSF web server. One major difference is that ths installation is on the web server only. You are not required to install any Lawson Portal files on the LSF server.
Note: The setup described here is one
part of the configuration that you mst perform to allow users to access Employee / Manager
from outside the firewall. An overview of all setup procedures is in the Employee
