Load bookmarks

  1. Log in to the Infor Lawson server as lawson.
  2. Verify that the web server and application server are running and all Infor Lawson Technology web applications are deployed.
  3. Launch Lawson Portal. In the address line of a web browser, specify:

    http://WebServerName:WebServerPort#/lawson/portal/

    where

    WebServerName is the name of the web server

    WebServerPort# is the listening port for the web server.

    Note: When you open Lawson Portal for the first time, a validation script checks to ensure that you have a supported web browser installed on your desktop. If you see an error message indicating that you are running an unsupported browser, do these before you continue with this installation:

    • See the System requirements for a list of supported browsers.

    • Install a supported browser.

    • Launch the Lawson Portal in the new browser.

  4. Log in as the lawson user.
  5. To assign the lawson user access to the LOGAN database, click the Preferences icon and select User Options. In the Data Area field, select LOGAN.
  6. Select OK.
  7. In the search field, specify LO920.
  8. Click the Search icon to display the Infor Lawson Upgrades (LO920) form.

    • In the Job field, specify lo920.

    • For Run Mode, select Update Mode.

    Click Add, then click Submit.

  9. In the Submit Job dialog box, click Submit.
  10. Examine the report output to view the list of bookmarks that were added.
