Browser Differences
This topic lists the differences when using different browsers in Lawson Portal.

Design Studio customizations containing Internet Explorer (IE) specific commands will not work in Firefox.

If users see words underlined in red indicating that spell checking is enabled, they can disable the spell check feature on Safari or Firefox.
Firefox, version 8+

Firefox users will see browser dialogs (prompt, confirm, alert), while other browser users will see the Infor Lawson System Foundation dialogs

Firefox users will encounter the Confirm Dialog Preference window (to prevent a page from creating additional dialogs). It is recommended to cancel this feature.

Firefox will encounter a browser dialog box stating that the page will create new dialogs. It is recommended to clear the checkbox to prevent new dialogs to appear.
Safari
Safari users should allow pop-up windows in order to allow Infor Lawson pages, such as, Drills, hot keys, and so on, open in a new window.
From Safari Security options, uncheck "Block pop-up windows."
