To submit a job

  1. Access the batch parameter form of the batch update or report program that you must submit a job for.
  2. Define a job for that program or perform an inquire on an existing job.
    1. Click Submit from the parameter form.

      Submit Job dialog window is displayed.

    2. OR, click on Quick Submit icon from the Form toolbar.

      This submits the job to the default job queue with the default date and time.

  3. Select a job queue to run the job on preferred queue, or leave the Job Queue field blank to use the default queue.
  4. Optionally, to schedule the job for a specific date and time, specify the Start Date and Start Time based on the current time zone that is displayed.
  5. On the Submit Job dialog box, click Submit.

    A message on status bar notifies you that the job is submitted. You can then access the forms that let you view the status of jobs and to print reports.
