Re-running a Query Template with QryAutoLoad

Use this procedure to set up your system to re-run query templates outside of the Query Wizard.

  1. Locate and double-click a .dme template file.

    Microsoft Windows opens a pop-up box, asking which program you want to use to open the file.

  2. Browse to the Infor Lawson Add-ins install directory. These are the default locations:

    32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lawson Software\Office Add-ins

    64-bit: C:\Program Files\Lawson Software\Office Add-ins

  3. Select the "Always use this program to open these files" check box.
  4. Select QryAutoLoad.exe.
  5. Log in to Query Wizard if the login screen appears.

    QryAutoLoad runs the template and displays the results.

    Note: When QryAutoLoad has been mapped, you can re-run a template whenever you open the .dme file from Windows Explorer.

    In the event of mismatched product line, a drop-down list of the product lines available on the server is displayed. The user selects from the drop-down and click on the select button for the QryAutoload to run the template and display the result.
