fldrpt - Field Usage Report

fldrpt -f | -e productline filename | fieldname

The fldrpt utility lists the usage of fields in the specified file or for the specified field.

fldrpt has the following program options:

Program Option Description
-f To report by file.
filename The file containing the fields whose usage you want to list.
-e To report by field.
fieldname The field whose usage you want to list.
productline The product line in which the file or field is defined.

At the command line, specify the information above.

or

  1. From the Database Administration menu, choose Generate Database Reports.

  2. From the Generate Database Reports menu, choose Field Report.

  3. On the Field Report form, specify or select the following data.

    Field Description
    Program Options See above.
    Product Line Product line for the fields.
    File/Element Name File or element name the fields reside under.
    I/O Options Optional. Display the output or redirect it to a file.

  4. Press Enter.
