Changing User Options

You can change the startup defaults for search functions and window size. These defaults take effect when you restart the Editor. Most of these defaults can be toggled during an editing session. For example, if you generally search a file from end to beginning (reverse), you can set the Scan option for the Find and Replace functions to default to Reverse. When you need to search forward, you can toggle that function.

You can also toggle user defaults, such as which visuals (tabs, spaces, or carriage returns) are visible.
