Using the Shift Window

The Shift function lets you move a line or lines to the right or left by the number of spaces that you specify. The amount of a shift is defined in the Source Options menu choice, see Changing Source Code Appearance Options.

  1. Mark the lines you want to shift. The end of the line must be marked.
  2. Press Edit (F5).
  3. Select Shift.

    The Shift window appears.

  4. Select the desired option.
    Choose To
    Right Shift the marked region to the right by the amount defined in Source Options.

    Left

    Shift the marked region to the left by the amount defined in Source Options.
  5. Press OK.
