Finding Another Occurrence of a String
Once a character string search has been defined using the Find (F2) key, the Next (F3) key can be used to find the next or previous occurrence of that string. The options chosen on the Find String in Current Window form control how the Next search proceeds.
-
Reverse also reverses the operation of the Next and Shift+Next keys.
-
Wrap Scan causes the search to loop through the file, passing the beginning and the end of the file.
-
No Wrap Scan causes the search to stop at the end of the file if the Next key is used or at the beginning of the file, if the Shift+Next key is used.
