Setting Startup Defaults

Startup default options take effect after you restart the Editor.

  1. Press Define (F6).
  2. Select Options.
  3. Select Startup from the Options menu.
  4. Press OK.

    The Startup Defaults form appears. If you have not changed the defaults, they appear as described in the following table.

    For a description of Maximize Windows, Show Visuals, and Columns, see Changing File Appearance.

  5. Type or Select (F4) an option, or type in a number to set a new default number of windows.

  6. Press OK.

    The Save Defaults form appears. The path where the new defaults will be saved is shown.

  7. Press OK.
