Using the Edit Menu

This section describes the functions chosen directly from the Edit menu.

The Edit menu contains three submenus, which are described in the following sections.

Some edit functions use the Lawson clipboard to store information. Information is placed on this clipboard during a cut or copy operation and then copied back in the file when a paste operation is performed. This information remains on the clipboard until another operation writes new information to the clipboard.

Note: The Lawson clipboard exists only when the Lawson Editor is running. Any information stored on the Lawson clipboard is lost when you close the Editor.
