Adding a user group

  1. On the User Group Definition form, go to the toolbar and click New.
  2. Specify this information:
    User Group Name

    A required field. Specify the assigned user group name in alphanumeric characters or numeric characters. The maximum length of characters is 10.

    Description

    An optional field. Provide additional user group information using alphanumeric characters or numeric characters. The maximum length of characters is 30.

    Member Type

    A required field. Specifiy if the item you are adding is a User or a Group.

    The User type is the list of existing users in the system. The Group type shows the list of existing user groups. You can view both types in the Member Name list.

    Member Name

    A required field. Specify the user or group name you are adding to the group.

    To add a member to the new User Group, select a member in the Member Name list and click Add Member.

  3. To display the new User Group in the User Groups list, click Save.
